Funeral expenses can be… considerable. Look at the figures for some of these famous funerals: Michael Jackson’s funeral reportedly cost over $1 million dollars. Former President Ronald Reagan’s funeral reportedly cost over $400 million (Air Force One isn’t inexpensive). Pope John Paul II’s funeral expenses were said to be over $9 million. Elvis Presley’s funeral reportedly was a little over $120,000 (although who knows what those expenses would be considering inflation). You can see other expenses in the picture above. Goodness, I had NO idea the funerals for these famous people cost so much!
