Nick & Vanessa Lachey Reveal Baby Name Decision Oct 11th 2012, 13:45 Adorable celeb couple Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa are over the moon after the arrival of their now-4-week-old baby boy Camden John. Choosing a baby’s name is one of the most important things that anyone does as a parent, so some serious thought went into the process for this happy couple. Nick tells People that he had liked the name Colin originally, but Vanessa nixed it. So, “We started looking for another 'C' name," the 38-year-old first-time dad explained. It turns out that Camden’s name comes from the street where mom Vanessa had her obstetrician’s appointments during pregnancy: Camden Drive. This street obviously holds special importance for the couple. Explains Nick, "We didn't really know anyone else named Camden. It was such a neat name. We fell in love with it and decided on it five or six months ago.” We love the name too, but little Camden is not the only baby in Hollywood to hold the moniker. That’s right, Nick’s ex Kristin Cavallari gave birth to a son this summer whom she named Camden Jack. Hey, maybe the boys will be friends some day– friends with a lot in common!
