Johnny Depp Gives New Girlfriend Amber Heard The Ultimate Gift Dec 28th 2012, 18:30 Last we heard, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard had “cooled off” following his “official split” from longtime companion Vanessa Paradis. It sounds like that is either no longer the case or Johnny is working overtime to get Amber back. He’s reportedly named his private island after her. A source told The Sun: “Johnny knows about romance after having been with a French woman all those years. He is now spending time with Amber in the Bahamas and presented her with her own beach as a Christmas gift.” After Amber decided she wanted some time apart, Johnny wooed her back with daily poems he wrote himself as well as flowers every day for the month of September. Eventually, Amber agreed to fly out to the Bahamas to see him. I guess so! Daily poems and flowers would wear any girl down- LOL. A source explained: “Johnny didn’t give up – he missed her so much over the summer. They both love literature and the way he tried to win her back totally worked. Once they flew for a romantic break, they were back on as a couple. Johnny’s the type to fall hard and he’s vowed not to let a girl like Amber, who’s beautiful and intelligent, slip through his fingers.” Gestures like naming his island after her are sure to help Johnny’s cause.
