Bradley Cooper Is Not Impressed Dec 10th 2012, 12:30 Bradley Cooper looks like he was getting ready for a root canal as he worked the red carpet! ‘The Silver Linings Playbook’ star attended SBIFF’s 2012 Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film. He attended with ‘The Silver Linings Playbook‘ costar Robert DeNiro, Robert’s wife, Grace Hightower, and director David O. Russell. Is all the campaigning for an Oscar nomination wearing Bradley down? I don’t envy Bradley his position: it’s hard not to be able to let your work speak for itself and either earn a nomination or not. I heard Mo’Nique absolutely REFUSED to campaign for any awards for her role in ‘Precious,’ yet she won big. Then again, her role was amazing, and her acting was mind-blowing. She deserved all the awards she won. I’m not sure if Bradley’s role in ‘The Silver Linings Playbook’ is quite at that level, although I’m looking forward to seeing it.
