Katie Holmes Steps Out In The Big Apple Dec 12th 2012, 23:30 I couldn’t help but notice that whenever the paparazzi catch Katie Holmes while she is out and about, she is always smiling these days (and that was such a rarity back when she was married to Tom Cruise, right?). The actress was spotted heading to her apartment after running a few errands while in New York City on Wednesday afternoon. Katie sure does have a lot to smile about these days – she’s doing great in “Dead Accountants,” and is going to be traveling to Ohio this Christmas to spend the holidays with her family, which is something she rarely did when she was married.
