According to Joshua Jackson, his ex-girlfriend Katie Holmes gave him a ring after she broke up with Tom Cruise to “catch up on life.” The actor made the revelation during a Canadian talk show recently. Besides, who hasn’t called their ex after a big bad break-up, right? Joshua said of the conversation: "Like any old friend. It was like, 'Oh, hi how are ya? What's going on?' 'I had a kid' 'Yeah, that's crazy, I heard!' It was nice. It was very nice, actually." Something tells me that Tom probably did cut off Katie from all of her old friends and now that she’s single again, she’s trying to reconnect with them. Sigh.
