Will Seth MacFarlane's Live Action Series Be A Hit Or Miss?
Sep 24th 2012, 21:22

With the breakout success of this summer's TED, it looks like Uber writer producer turned director Seth Macfarlane will be making the trip back to the small screen with a new live action television series. A veteran of TV with 3 shows currently on FOX, this series will mark the first time Macfarlane has ventured into live action scripted television, but hardly a surprise given the success of maiden film this summer. Macfarlane will write and produce the series with his two TED co-writers and long time Family Guy collaborators Alec Sulkin and Wellsley Wild. The untitled half hour comedy will surround the lives of 2 successful 30 somethings who's lives are turned upside down when their parents decide to move in with them. FOX is apparently very eager to move quickly with the project and even signed a supposedly large penalty commitment, meaning that the Network will have to shell out a hefty fee if the pilot is not picked up for series, making this one just about the safest bet possible for Team MacFarlane. So what do you guys think, Can we safely expect another instant classic series from Macfarlane or does he have to build his street creed from the ground up when it comes to liove action?
