Former ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Marcia Cross left the warm weather of LA to fly across the country to NYC. Marcia flew across the country to flick the switch that lights up the Empire State Building. That’s always looked like fun: I wonder if she brought her daughters to watch? I’m loving Marcia in that purple blouse: it makes her gorgeous red hair pop.

Marcia lit up the Empire State Building in honor of Plan International USA. Plan International is an organization that works with developing countries around the world in an effort to end poverty. What a great cause!
