'Thor: The Dark World' Will Open November 2013 Oct 19th 2012, 17:30 Did you get a chance to see the first ‘Thor‘? I did, and I absolutely LOVED it! It was one of my favorite superhero movies from the last few years. Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are back for the sequel, ‘Thor: The Dark World.’ There’s no video for us to watch yet (they’re literally still filming it), but here’s what ‘Thor: The Dark World’ is about: Marvel's “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel's “Thor” and “Marvel's The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. YES! I want to see Thor reunited with Jane, so this all sounds great to me- LOL. ‘Thor: The Dark World’ will be shown in 3D, and I highly recommend you spent the extra bit and see it that way. The cinematography from Thor’s native world is gorgeous and worth the extra price! The geek girl in me is hyperventilating, but she needs to calm down: ‘Thor: The Dark World’ won’t hit theaters for another year, November 2013. I know it’ll be worth the wait!
