Demi Moore "Shocked" Ashton Kutcher Filed For Divorce Dec 26th 2012, 17:00 Demi Moore reportedly was “shocked” when Ashton Kutcher filed for divorce right before Christmas. A source explained to the Post: "Demi had hoped to negotiate a financial settlement quietly, and then file paperwork afterwards to show the matter had been settled. Demi was asking for so much money, and [the negotiation] was dragging on so long, that Kutcher got fed up and filed papers, which means their divorce negotiations will become more public." Ashton could have also been motivated to file before the end of the year for tax reasons, the source added. So now we’re all going to be privy to the drama. Demi’s reportedly worth more than Ashton, so I can see where he wouldn’t want to pay her a lot of money, but he did cheat on her. He should give her something just for that, I think.
