Officially unveiled at a press event today, the One features an all-aluminum construction as well as a host of exciting new features, so let's take a closer look. In the hardware department, the One uses Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 600 1.7 GHz quad core processor, comes with 2 GB of RAM, and will ship with either 32 or 64 GB of onboard storage. Among the new innovations is a rather bold new direction for smartphone cameras, with HTC abandoning the megapixel war in favor of a technology they call UltraPixel, which brings 300% more light into the frame when compared to traditional image sensors, allowing for fantastic low light performance and lightning fast shutter times. Coupled with the native Optical Image Stabilization onboard this should prove to be a very competitive camera.
